How these worksheets are built
Each worksheet takes one topic from the provincial program and works through it in the order the concepts actually build on each other. The questions are on the page as text, so you can read them before deciding whether to print anything, and the PDF is laid out at letter size with working space under each question.
Every sheet is followed by a written explanation of the methods it needs — not a solution set, but the decisions that get you to one: which factoring technique the shape of the expression is asking for, why squaring both sides forces you to check your answers, where the sign flips and why. That is the part most worksheet sites leave out, and it is the reason these pages exist.
The questions are original, and every set is built against the document that defines the course. For Secondary 1 through 3 that is the Québec Education Program and its Progression of Learning, which fix what belongs to each year; for Secondary 4 and 5, the same program together with the ministerial examination, which fixes the style and the difficulty; for AP Calculus AB, the College Board's Course and Exam Description; for the CEGEP courses, the ministry's own competency standards. No example, context or dataset is reused from any of them.
